Memory Foam Mattresses for Ultimate Comfort

When you lie on a memory foam mattress, the heat from your body softens it, to the point that it becomes soft and moulds to your body shape. When you get off the bed, memory foam returns to its original shape.

Initially used by NASA in the 1960s to help absorb the G-force of astronauts when entering and leaving the earth's atmosphere, memory foam is used nowadays for medical and commercial purposes, including insoles for shoes, prosthetics, and seating pads for the elderly. But the most prominent use mattresses, mattress toppers and pillows, as it is extremely comfortable and affords users and great night's sleep.

Advantages of Memory Foam

Memory foam enhances blood circulation and reduces strain on aching joints by alleviating pressure points and evenly supporting the entire body. As an anti-microbial substance, it furthermore decreases dust mites that can provoke allergies.

Memory Foam Mattress Densities

Memory foam comes in various densities. The higher the density, the more supportive and firmer the mattress. Higher-density memory foam mattresses also tend to have a higher price tag.

Heavy people, or those who suffer from back and joint issues, will benefit from higher-density memory foam.

As a general rule of the thumb, anything below 40kg density is deemed low, while anything over 80kg is high. Memory foam of 60kg is medium, and this is sufficient for most consumers.

We supply a wide range of excellent memory foam mattresses, including our own HF4you propriety brand. Our next-day delivery service covers all our memory foam mattresses.
